Minnesota vs. Rutgers NCAAF Pick – Week 8

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights welcome the Minnesota Golden Gophers to Get a Big Ten matchup at New Jersey.

As they hope to prevent a listing of rutgers are searching for signs of life in their roster. Their only win in this season came from the Reduce UMass Minutemen in Week 1.
UMass have just one win too, which came against an equally dreadful Akron squad. Rutgers had a different quarterback operating the show in Week 1. McLane Carter revealed the Scarlet Knights could have a QB to rely in 2019 and was healthy then.
Nope, Carter never returned to the area and suffered a concussion from Iowa. Hell never go back to the area after announcing his retirement. It is a wise move by Carter whos placing his health prior to football, which was not going to lead to a career.
As a Red Raider he showcased possible in Lubbock for a few games. Nothing materialized to him and his career at Rutgers was short lived. He may be the quarterback this season to lead Rutgers so that is something, I suppose.
Carter beat Artur Sitkowski in training camp out to find the job. It did not last long since Carter had to depart with this concussion against Iowa. When Sitowski trotted it out had to create Rutgers lovers apologize. Sitkowski was the starter at New Jersey last season and it was, well, intriguing.
Sitkowski was the quarterback in the FBS. He retreated a yikes worthy 4 touchdowns and 18 interceptions with just 49.1% completions. If Rutgers had anyone on the depth chart afterward they would have went in that direction. Sitkowski had zero rivalry despite being terrible, so he played the season at quarterback out.
He hasnt turned the ball over nearly as much so far, but Sitkowski is gun shy. New head coach Nunzio Campanile, who replaced Chris Ash, can be trying to keep it easy for Sitkowski. Head below for our free Minnesota vs. Rutgers pick.

Rutgers were planning on running their crime around the ground match of Raheem Blackshear. They went to hammer on the ball and branch out from there. However, not and Blackshear and Rutgers have agreed to have a redshirt play in another game this year. This gives him another year of eligibility for that which is a Rutgers team in a couple of years. This is a lost season, so there really is no use in burning a year of Blackshear and possibly getting him hurt from blowouts.
Sitkowski has passed this year. His only touchdown pass was from BC at a 30-16 reduction. Sitkowski is a pocket passer. Sitkowski is exactly what you call a statue, although carter had a little mobility and might roll from the pocket. If he can pass the football there is not anything wrong with this. Therefore Rutgers is extremely limited with what they could do with him but he cant. Sitkowski doesnt have the advantage of handing away the ball to Blackshear, possibly.
Rutgers might have to navigate beyond a Minnesota defense who have let only 311.8 yards per game. They have been strong against the pass in particular, with an average of merely 192 passing yards allowed. Its hard to have much faith doing something in this competition. Sitkowski passed 106 yards in a 52-0 blowout against Michigan.
They were on the side of the coin, although Minnesota are coming from a blowout as well. The Gophers blew the Nebraska Cornhuskers out of the water. Nebraska are among the teams in college football this year, a 25, and Minnesota created their year. The game led by Rodney Smith, whos in the top-10 using 675 rushing yards a game, is going to be a load.
The Golden Gophers are averaging 186.2 metres per game on the floor. Its terrible news for a Rutgers team who have gotten gashed for at least 200 yards. Minnesota are going to keep the ball and gash Rutgers around the ground, although they have been better against the pass. This seems like yet another blowout loss for Rutgers, although it may not be as awful as the Michigan game. A 42-7 win to give them the cover Saturday in New Jersey.
